Pantries and utility rooms
A place for the washing, the broom and the big shop — fitted properly, not squeezed in.
Why add a pantry or utility room
A little extra storage away from the main kitchen makes the whole house work better:
The bespoke pantry
A bespoke pantry keeps dry goods, small appliances and everyday clutter tidy and easy to reach. We design it with adjustable shelving, deep drawers, a worktop for a coffee or baking station, and space for a wine rack or larder fridge, all sized to fit the room you have.
The hard-working utility room
A utility room hides the noisy, messy jobs away from the kitchen. We build in space and plumbing for a washing machine and dryer, a deep sink for soaking and cleaning, tall broom and cleaning cupboards, and plenty of worktop for folding and sorting.

Tall units and worktops
Full-height larders with pull-out shelves, a worktop over the washer and dryer, and a broom cupboard.
Designed around your storage
We plan every centimetre around what you need to store and do. A typical pantry or utility brings together:

Room for the washing
We plan plumbing, venting and a place for the basket before anything is cut.
Ideas for pantries and utilities
Popular touches include a pull-out larder, a dedicated coffee or breakfast station, a pull-down clothes airer, integrated bins and recycling, and a boot-and-coat area by the back door. Bring your ideas and we will make them fit.

Materials, finishes and options
Every kitchen we build is made to order, so you choose the details. Door styles range from smooth handleless and timeless Shaker to painted in-frame, in finishes such as hand-painted matt, silk, gloss, textured woodgrain and natural timber. Worktops include quartz, granite, solid surface, laminate and solid wood, paired with the sink, tap, splashback and lighting to suit. Inside, expect soft-close doors and drawers, clever corner solutions, larder and pantry units, integrated bins and fittings sized around how you cook and store.
How much does a fitted kitchen cost?
As a rough guide, fitted kitchens in Ireland typically start from around €8,000 for a compact kitchen and run to €20,000 to €35,000 or more for a larger bespoke kitchen, depending on size, materials, worktops and appliances. Because every kitchen is designed and made to measure, we price each project individually and give you a clear, itemised quote after your free consultation at our Swords workshop, with no obligation.
