Boot rooms and utility rooms
Bench, hooks, boots and washing — all behind one door, in finishes that wipe clean.
Room for the washing
Tall cupboards for the airer and the mop, a basket drawer, and venting for the dryer.
The hard-working boot room
A boot room is built for the back door and busy family life. We fit open and closed coat storage, cubbies and racks for shoes and boots, drawers for hats, gloves and dog leads, a bench to sit on, and hooks at both adult and child height, all in hard-wearing finishes.
A calm, organised laundry
A laundry room takes washing away from the kitchen. We design in space and plumbing for a washer and dryer, a deep sink, a worktop for folding, a pull-down or fixed airer, and tall cupboards for cleaning gear and baskets, so the whole job is contained in one tidy room.

Finishes that wipe clean
Moisture-resistant board, edged fronts and a worktop over the washer and dryer.
Bench, hooks, shoe trays
A bench to sit on, hooks at child height, open trays underneath for wet boots.

Making the most of a small space
A boot room or laundry does not need to be large. We fit them into a back hallway, a section of the kitchen, an understairs space or a utility corner, using the full height and clever storage to pack a lot into a small footprint.
Ideas for boot rooms and laundries
Popular touches include a bench with shoe storage under and hooks above, a dedicated muddy-boot or dog zone, a pull-down airer, integrated bins and recycling, and a worktop that doubles for folding and drop-off. Bring your ideas and we will make them fit.
What it costs
Because every boot room and laundry is made to measure, the price depends on the size, the storage and worktops, and whether appliances and plumbing are included. After your free consultation we give you a clear, itemised quote so you know exactly what you are paying for, and we can tailor the specification to different budgets. Materials, finishes and options
Because these pieces are built for a specific spot in your home, everything is made to measure and finished to match your space. We work in painted MDF, real-wood veneer, laminate and solid timber, with a wide choice of colours and textures. Depending on the project, we add integrated lighting, hidden cable management for media walls, floating and adjustable shelves, glass, soft-close doors and drawers, and concealed storage. From a full media wall to a home office or a run of alcove units, the design is shaped around your room, your equipment and the way you use it.
How much does it cost?
Living and home projects vary widely, from a single run of alcove units to a full media wall, home office or wine room, so pricing depends on the size, materials and features involved. Prices include VAT and fitting. Because everything is made to measure, we price each project individually and give you a clear, itemised quote after your free consultation at our Swords workshop, with no obligation.
